St. Ambrose University is committed to providing a work and educational environment that is free from discrimination, harassment, and retaliation, and the University complies with the requirements of Title IX of the 1972 Education Amendments, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, Title VII, and all other applicable federal, state and local laws. The University will make every effort to preserve the privacy of reports consistent with conducting an effective investigation. This Policy applies to conduct that takes place on campus, at University-sponsored events, and off-campus and online when the University determines that the off-campus conduct affects a substantial University interest. Conduct not covered under Title IX will be addressed through a separate student conduct process. A substantial University interest as defined in this Policy includes:
